In 1994, Morris Croghan Sr., a seasoned contractor in the construction industry and consummate innovator, was awarded his first patent for a mechanical earthquake alarm. When invited to submit his invention to a regional competition, feeling his earthquake alarm was not regionally relevant , Morris submitted a construction tube footing form which would become REDIBASE, the industry's first concrete footing form system for in-ground concrete columns to reach the market.
For the next 20 years, Morris served as the hands-on President of the small family business, Redibase Inc., looking after day-to-day operations and becoming the familiar and beloved voice of the company when customers called to place orders.
Few of those calls ended without Morris initiating talk of a more personal nature on subjects of shared interest, including politics, history, hockey, and trees. He was even known to swap recipes with his customers from time to time.
Sadly, Morris passed away on September 12, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer, leaving to mourn his many friends in the Redibase community as well as a large and loving family.
... Building Strong Foundations, One Footing at a Time!
Easy and quick to assemble, REDIBASE attaches to any 8", 10" and 12" constructions tubes in minutes... simply pull the base down over a cut to length construction tube allowing tabs to click into place and then simply duct tape tube to base. No more form boxes to build or tools and lumber required... making it the preferred footing form among DIYs and contractors alike.
.... is a flexible 8" x 24" recycled plastic construction tube footing form used for applying a footing to in-ground concrete columns. Suitable for exterior structures such as decks, porches, gazebos, add-ons, agricultural shelters and much more.

OUR STORY
OUR COMPANY
BUILDING STRONG FOUNDATIONS SINCE 1996!
With 35 years experience in the trade, eldest son & protégé Morris Jr., joins efforts with his spouse in preserving his father’s legacy.
Having been a long time, successful entrepreneur, Lynn Patenaude manages the company's day to day and has recruited John Molson Business School graduate, Maria Destounis to help build the company’s marketing strategy.
In keeping with the same family business tradition, their daughter Mercedes, when not attending university, can also be found helping during the company’s busy season.
Today's exterior structures have become more sophisticated; multi-level, composite decking, incorporated BBQ's, mini pools, hot tubs and glassed in areas... all of which represent a substantial investment for home owners, expecting years of safe and trouble free service and enjoyment. However, few of these amenities are possible on a stressed and off level platform.
Recognizing the need to stabilize in-ground concrete columns in order to eliminate the destructive effects of tilting, sinking or frost-heave, both U.S. and Canadian national building codes now require footings like REDIBASE be used on all in-ground column foundations... making our footing form the obvious start to a trouble free, longer lasting structure.
